full beer pong rules?

i need beer pong rules

need: approx 6 ft table; 20 solo cups; bowl of water; 2 ping-pong balls and LOTS of beer

set up: on either ends of the table, set up 10 cups in a pyramid shape, starting with a row of 4 cups at the edge of the short side of the table ends, row of 3 cups touching inbetween the 4, row of 2 infront of those and the tip is one. you should only use about a third of the beer to fill each cup.

rules: two players on each team. each player has two shots per turn to make it in to a cup on the other side of the table. each player MUST stand 1foot back from his/her side of the table when shooting. when a player makes the shot, the other teams players must consume the cup of beer that the ball made it in. if at any point there are 6 or 3 cups remaining on the side in which they are shooting at, the players may ask to ‘move them up’ (before the 1st person shoots) and tighten the pyramid to a 3-2-1 pyramid or a 2-1 pyramid. when there are 2 cups left, you can tighten up to one infront of the other. the team that makes the ball in all 10 cups first wins.

MAKE SURE to wash the ball off in the bowl of water if you miss the cups

EXTRA: if you want to bounce the ping-pong ball it is allowed, but does require some extra rules. if the player makes it in on a bounce, the team drinking MUST drink the cup they made it in PLUS another cup on the table, and the player shooting gets an extra turn. the players on the opposite team of which is bouncing the ball ARE allowed to block the ball ONLY IF it has bounced on the table at least once.

im new at the game and throwin a party tonight and i don’t wanna look like a mess so anyone wanna give me the quick rules of beer pong?

10 small plastic cups on each side in a pyramid shape

you sink, the other team drinks that cup
you AND your partner sink…they drink and you guys get to go again.

you get two re-racks per game…ie…you’ve hit cups all over the map and theres big gaps between your target cups, you say re-rack…and they have to move them all closer together.

when one team sinks all the others cups, the other team has to drink your remaining cups.

once the ping pong ball hits a cup and bounces up, defense is permitted.

if you bounce a ball in, opposing team has to drink all the cups touching the cup it landed in. but again, once a ball is bounced off the table, defense is permitted.

repeat these steps about 15 times.

What are your beer pong house rules?

At my house we play 10 cup, same cup is three cups, balls back if you make two cups, around the back rodeo shots, airballs, and bounces are 2 cups. What are yours?

Instead of beer we use tequila shots

My friends and I can not stop fighting about the rules. Some people say bounces are two cups. Some people say if the ball rolls back to you, you get to shoot it behind your back. I would just like to get an offiicial rule list.

If you use paddles to hit the ball into cups, the name of the game is beer pong.

If you throw the ping pong balls into into cups, the name of the game is Beirut.

No, it isn’t a regional difference.

That said, you can have your own house rules, but bounces are always worth two cups and getting another shot if the balls roll back is utterly stupid.

Here’s a list of rules, but ignore #5, #7, and #11, but physically interfering with a throw results in one cup being pulled.
