I’m looking to enter competitive beer pong tournaments that offer cash pries but cannot find many bars in the area that are hosting. I live in the Kearny area of New Jersey. Does anyone know any bars that hold tournaments or maybe a website that consistently posts them?

Hey all — me and a few of my buddies are trying to find the name of a company that hosts cash beer pong tournaments around Pittsburgh.
At the last one on Carson St. my brother and I almost won it all….but choked in the finals 
But we still consider ourselves the best beer pong team in all of Pittsburgh and plan to prove it this year!
PittsburghBeerPong.com is the name of the company you are talking about. I have been to two of their tournaments and they are pretty sweet. Only $80 a team. The tournaments I went to only had 32 teams so if you won 4 games you were in the championship, quickest $1,200 the dudes who won will ever make. It was awesome, though, it was during the week and gave everybody something to do and a shot at some big cash.

I am concerned that people would get too intoxicated…how could I keep this from happening?
Well it’s a better idea than holding one at a funeral parlour.
As for people getting drunk, isn’t that the whole idea of beer pong – then again it’s not your problem, it’s down to the bar to control that, all you need to do is get the bars permission.

The championship game of the 2nd Annual Cesar Chavez Day Beer Pong Classic presented by Central California Beer Pong. This is a match between Mexi-Cali Mafia and Shred The Gnar. Mexi-Cali Mafia lost their first game of the 32 team double elimination tournament and battled back to make it all the way to the final game. Shred The Gnar, fresh off an El Segundo Open Championship, went undefeated in bracket play again to claim their 2nd beer pong title in as many tries.
